Tiến sĩ Ahmad Amer trưởng khoa tiếng Anh của trường Đại học Al-Qasemi đã trình bày về những tiềm năng, khó khăn, và vai trò của giáo viên khi MOOCs được triển khai. Hội thảo đã diễn ra trong không khí sôi nổi và nhiều câu hỏi đã được đặt ra từ phía khán giả.
Tiến sĩ Ahmad Amer hy vọng MOOCs sẽ phổ biến ở Việt Nam. Tương lai giáo dục sẽ tận dụng thế mạnh của công nghệ thông tin. Các khoá học trực tuyến về các lĩnh vực sẽ được cung cấp đại trà cho mọi tầng lớp xã hội. Để đáp ứng nhu cầu về ứng dụng công nghệ thông tin, TT CNTT sẽ kết hợp với các chuyên gia về ứng dụng công nghệ trong và ngoài nước tổ chức các buổi hội thảo trong thời gian tới.
