Dear Teachers,

As you may know Voice of America (VOA) produces excellent programs for English language teachers/students.  These courses include short videos + instructional materials (lesson plans, handouts, video scripts) for different levels and different audiences. It is our pleasure to share with you information of their new programs as follows:

What It Takes is a weekly podcast in partnership with the Academy of Achievement. It was launched over the weekend. The program features conversations with well-known people from every field. The first one is on Johnny Cash. We will have Willie Mays, Oprah Winfrey, Jonas Salk, Benazir Bhutto the following weeks. Future podcasts will have conversations with people like Maya Angelou, BB King, Sergey Brin, Coretta Scott King, Peyton Manning, Desmond Tutu and so on…

Let’s Teach English is an 11-episode training program for English teachers and students. The program is produced in partnership with the University of Oregon based on the Women Teaching Women English. This will launch on August 28.
